.bd & .বাংলা is a Country Code Top Level Domain (ccTLD) in the Internet. It is the address of Bangladesh in the internet world. BTCL is the registration authority of both ccTLD on behalf of MoPTICT.

* Renewal late fee after expiration will be for .bd domain and for .বাংলা domain.

Domain should be renewed before the last day of expiry of the subscription period of the domain name. Otherwise domain name will be suspended & will be kept suspended (Parked) for 90 days. If payment is still not received within this 90 days suspension period, the domain name will be deleted and made available to the public.

Pre-requisite Documents:

For individual accounts then have to provide scanned copy of NID or passport.
For business accounts then have to provide scanned copy of business tread license and NID or passport.
For .edu domain, approval letter from Govt./Madrasa Board/BTEB/UGC/Education Board is required.
For .gov domain, forwarding letter from concern govt. organization/body/institution is required.
For .mil domain, forwarding letter from Bangladesh Armed Forces is required.
Forwarding letter should be in favor of Divisional Engineer (Administration & coordination), Bangladesh Telecommunications Company Limited (BTCL), Mogbazar Telephone Bhaban, Dhaka-1217
